Ethiopia and Somalia Group Tour
The Authentic Ethiopia & Somalia Group Tour Experience
9 Days / 8 Nights | $3,600 Per Person Sharing | East Africa
One of the Most Extraordinary Journeys on Earth
This is not a typical tour. Over nine days we take you through two of the most fascinating and least visited countries in Africa, from the ancient highland capital of Addis Ababa to the remote tribal communities of the Omo Valley to the coastal streets of Mogadishu, one of the rarest travel destinations on the planet.
East Africa is misunderstood in much the same way Nigeria is. The headlines do not tell the full story. We have built trusted local partnerships in both Ethiopia and Somalia that allow us to travel safely and meaningfully in places most tour operators will never take you. This trip is for travelers who want something genuinely uncommon.

Where We Go
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Ethiopia’s dynamic capital is one of Africa’s most underrated cities. We begin the tour here, immersing ourselves in the history, food, and daily life of a city that has been the center of Ethiopian civilization for centuries. Highlights include the Meskel Festival, one of the largest religious gatherings in Africa, a visit to the legendary Mercato Market, one of the largest open air markets on the continent, and a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, an experience that is as cultural as it is delicious.
The Omo Valley, Ethiopia
From Addis Ababa we fly south to Jinka and spend three nights in the remote Omo Valley, one of the most extraordinary cultural destinations anywhere in the world. The tribes of the Omo Valley have maintained their traditions, their languages, their body art, and their ways of life for generations largely untouched by the outside world. We visit the Banna stilt walking tribe and witness the Hamer tribe bull jumping ceremony, a rite of passage that has been practiced for centuries.
Mogadishu, Somalia
The journey concludes in Mogadishu, Somalia’s coastal capital and one of the least visited cities on earth. For the traveler seeking something truly beyond the ordinary, Mogadishu delivers an experience unlike anything else. We spend time at the beautiful Lido Beach, explore the city’s vibrant local markets, visit sand dunes outside the city, take a boat tour along the coast, and sample traditional camel milk. We travel with trusted professional local security throughout our time in Mogadishu so you can focus entirely on experiencing this remarkable and rarely seen city.
